They have an incredibly knowledgeable academic team and a highly specialised campus containing cutting edge medical imaging equipment including one of only seven open-upright MRI scanners in the country!

Ground Up Productions have been AECC’s production partner since 2019, producing the majority of their video content for internal and external use. These films are shown across their website, social media and digital advertising. 

To date we have written, produced, filmed and edited well over 50 films for the institution and the content we've created is distributed around the world helping the university get its message out to their audience of potential future students, current practicing students and its partners.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, and in particular during the lockdowns here in the UK AECC, like many other institutions and businesses saw an increasing need to communicate to their audience in many new ways, and our team of writers and producers worked closely with their fantastic marketing team to make sure that their audience got the vital information they needed to complete their studies safely.

Here is a video that was part of a series of informational films that the institution distributed to all of its students detailing the latest guidance on their COVID policies.

Another area severely affected by the pandemic was campus tours which are a key tool to get students onto courses. With the obvious barriers to these taking place in person we devised a way for students to tour AECC's beautiful campus from the comfort of their homes.

The one thing we are keen to showcase alongside all the incredible facilities and equipment the university has, was the friendliness of a small community which is a huge draw for them. This is why we chose to use real students to present the tour. This entire film was shot across just a day on campus. 

We also devised a suite of films specifically to target young adults who were potentially looking at their future careers. This series was called "Why Become A..." and was sent out to schools across the country in order to help teenagers understand what various careers they might choose to pursue.

Recognising that younger people are consuming content in many new ways across many different streams, the films were distributed in several different formats that are optimised for various social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels & of course YouTube.

AECC University Collage are a great example of an organisation who are putting video at the forefront of their marketing & communications. They have identified and understood the power and reach that video can have across their diverse audience and have utilised our knowledge to create engaging content that pinpoints their many different demographics.

We are excited to continue our close relationship with AECC as they grow their offering to the Health Sciences community. Already in the time we have been working with them we have seen the huge investment that is being made to improve the learning of their students and in turn enhance the health of the community.
